Dating back to the early 1700's, Grand Roche was, originally, a wine estate. It has been lovingly restored to preserve its romantic Cape character.
The historic manor house with its French furnishings, forms the heart of the hotel and houses the award-winning gourmet restaurant, Bosman's. Being a member of Relais & Chateaux - and the only Relais Gourmand establishment in Africa - the Grand Roche epitomises luxury, elegance and romance.

There are 18 are vine-clad terrace suites, 5 duplex suites, 5 junior-duplex suites, 5 executive rooms and 1 honeymoon suite.
The luxurious, individually appointed suites are housed in the original slave quarters, the coach house, the wine cellar, the stable and the new terrace.
The conference centre and amphitheatre, which are surrounded by vineyards, are wonderfully romantic settings for wedding receptions. They also serve the business community for banquets, conferences, product launches and various other events and special functions.
