rental. Seat belts are compulsory. Driving under the influence of alcohol is a
serious offence and traffic laws are strictly enforced.
In South Africa,
car hire regulations follow ordinary driving regulations. It is compulsory for
drivers to carry their drivers license with them at all times, and driving is
on the left hand side of the road. In most other countries besides South Africa,
car hire rules will not allow you to take the vehicle across the border into another
country. In addition, certain restrictions may apply as to where the car can be
