Zimbabwe is home to the incredible medieval ruins of Khame and Great Zimbabwe - whose massive stone construction belong to a culture whose roots are lost in the distant history of a past civilization.
Zimbabwe - the vibrant heart of Africa. A flood of primal energy and a spectacle that surpasses the imagination. Zimbabwe offers a confrontation with nature at its rawest and most profound. Glorified by unabashed scenic extravagance, the Mosi-oa-Tunya, the Victoria Falls, epitomizes the thrusting elbow of the Zambezi.
Playground and frontier for the adventurer, the sportsman and nature?s own admiration societies, Zimbabwe is an experience that can be savoured, remembered and never forgotten.

More
about Zimbabwe
Zimbabwe offers a wide variety of travel and holiday opportunities. With a climate of short, mild winters and long warm summers, it is favourable for visits all year round. Although we have only featured the Victoria Falls as a highlight in Zimbabwe, due to the current low demand for the rest of the country, we can tailor-make tours and safaris in this region, or a more popular option would be to 'add-on' to your itinerary visits to the neighbouring countries.
Lake Kariba, created in the late 1950?s by damming the Zambezi River, consists of over 3200km sq of water. Studded with islands and surrounded by mountains it provides a permanent playground for watersports enthusiasts as well as superb birdwatching, game viewing and fresh water fishing.
Twice as high and one and a half times as wide as Niagra, the Victoria Falls is divided into five separate falls, the Devils Cataract, Main Falls, Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls and the Eastern Cataract, ranging in height from 60m - 110m. The peak flow is usually around mid-April when the pray can rise 450m into the air, hence the name, ?the smoke that thunders.?
The Victoria Falls is also a popular destination from the Zambian side.
